5 Ropes on the route when we started at 12.30pm. Ice was brittle on the first two pitches and as such a lot of ice was coming down the route, making it quite dangerous. Better on the rest of the route though. On returning to our packs at the end of the day, there were three huge blocks of ice at the bottom on the route which had fallen down after we started.
